precisely in the Marche, where Pietro Ciccarelli graduated in Chemistry and Pharmacy in 1835, continuing a family tradition that has its strength in pharmaceutical origins.
In fact, the pharmaceutical culture of the Ciccarelli family has even more ancient origins and has its roots in the 18th century, in the apothecary tradition custodian of the medical secrets of herbs and minerals.
THE JOURNEY CONTINUES WITH CLEMENTE, GREAT-GRANDSON OF PIETRO, CHEMIST, VETERINANIAN AND CAVALRY CAPTAIN,
who, since the early years of the 20th century, has invented diverse products, including the first toothpaste, and the formula of the corn remover cream.
The toothpaste is a true innovation that quickly replaces the habit of using powdered oral care products. The history of the Ciccarelli family from that moment evolved along with the growth of the Pharmacies and the products which grew from being artisan to becoming more accessible to an ever growing public.
A HISTORY THAT CONSOLIDATED WITH NICOLA CICCARELLI, SON OF CLEMENTE, KNOWN AS ‘NICO’.
He is the person who, in the 50s and 60s, transformed the family business into an important industrial entity, consolidating offices and the production site in the capital of the economic boom: Milan.
With him are born new brands and new products and the company is transformed into a modern business. Nico Ciccarelli is the first Italian businessman to "be the face" and appear in the Carosello commercials in person, testifying to the quality of the advertised products.
